Where is HYPE Sports Rehab & Performance located?

Our facility is located inside RECK Fitness and the New England Sportsplex.
Which is located at: 
199 Newbury St, Danvers, MA

Turn right off Route 1 North into the RECK Fitness and the New England Sportsplex parking lot.
Immediately turn RIGHT down the hill and park in the lower parking lot.
Enter through the double glass doors with the HYPE and RECK logos and come up the stairs.
**If you are unable to climb stairs, a ramp entrance is available. Please contact your Physical Therapist prior to your visit to gain access. 
Please wait in the RECK Fitness reception area to your right. Your Physical Therapist will come out to greet you for your  appointment.

From your initial evaluation through your final visit, you'll work with a doctor of physical therapy, who understands your goals, tracks your progress, and adjusts your treatment plan as you improve.We don't believe recovery should follow a predetermined schedule. Rather than prescribing the same number of visits for every patient, we create a plan based on your lifestyle, your goals, and how your body responds to treatment. Whether you're recovering from an injury, preparing for competition, or simply looking to move and feel your best, your care evolves with you.Our sessions provide the time and flexibility to combine hands-on treatment, movement analysis, strength and performance training, education, and recovery strategies—all in one visit. This personalized approach allows us to address the root cause of your symptoms, not just manage them, so you can return to doing what you love with confidence.

How long are visits?

Every session is delivered one-on-one with your physical therapist, ensuring an attentive, highly personalized experience tailored to your goals. Appointments range from 30 to 120 minutes, depending on your individual needs and plan of care. Your initial session is 90 minutes, allowing dedicated time for a comprehensive evaluation, thoughtful discussion of your concerns, and creation of a customized treatment plan. Ongoing session length is then tailored collaboratively between you and your PT to best support your schedule and recovery goals.

What should I wear to my physical therapy visit?

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement and gives your physical therapist access to the area being evaluated or treated. For example, shorts are helpful for lower body concerns, while a sports bra, tank top or loose T-shirt may be best for shoulder, neck, or upper body treatment. Choosing clothing that allows us to clearly assess the affected area helps ensure the most effective evaluation and hands-on care

In Massachusetts, patients have unrestricted direct access to physical therapy, which means you do NOT need a referral or prescription from a physician to begin treatment. You are welcome to schedule an evaluation directly with us at any time.
